In the hospital, the nurse would take his heart rate and if the rate was below 60, they wouldn't give him a digoxin pill in the late afternoon.

Is there any advantage to taking metoprolol succinate if you do not have high blood pressure?

I do not have high blood pressure, 105/68 is typical. I do not have high cholesterol or high triglycerides either. My resting pulse rate is 48 to 52 beats per minute.
