I know that you should take the thyroid medicine 4hrs before the Carafate but how about switching them, can I take the Carafate first and then wait 4 hours to take the Thyroid medicine? Thank you

I am on both Carafate and Creon, I am supposed to take Creon immediately before eating which would mean waiting 2 hours to eat after taking Carafate instead of 1 Hour. Will I still benefit from the Creon if I take it less than 2 hours after taking Carafate?

My doctor recently prescribed Carafate again. The remaining bottle I have from 2013 states that it should be used by 03/13/04. It is now June 2. This is a very expensive medication and, if this date is arbitrary, I would prefer to finish this bottle before reordering.
