Does metformin affect high BP?

I read in an article that peop;e with with high blood pressure should not take metformin because it will cause it to become higher and does not interact well with the blood pressure meds, also in rare occassion it can cause the blood sugar to raise. Is this true?

I took an overdose of Lisinopril. Instead of 10 mg, I took 30 mg. Do I need to worry about that?
