I have lymphedema in my left leg due from a surgery where Dr. cut into a lymph node It swells from being on my feet or even sitting, been like this for a while ,I do elevate the leg when I'm home.I have a running nose from allergies and take Montelukast sodium every day.I have noticed the swelling is really hard lately.I hardly use salt at all.could the pill be making the swelling worst.I know it's a chemical salt in the pill.

Number one this means it is a chemical salt of montelukast, not sodium chloride (like table salt). Table salt is sodium chloride. Not all sodium chemical salts have the effects of sodium chloride. Number two, this will have no effects like sodium chloride on his blood pressure.

It is the chemical salt sodium, not table salt.
