Or is there another medication that is fully covered?
Is it OK to stop taken duloxetine? I’m taking 40 mg daily or I need to go off of it slowly?

Answers
Hi, jballard!
Although you're on a fairly low dose if you've been taking it for a while you probably will need to taper off on a schedule from your doctor. Some people can just stop but if you have withdrawals they can be pretty rough.
By covered do you mean insurance will pay for it? Most generics are covered by most insurance companies. Sometimes they will deny brand names especially if a generic is available.
