I am to take 1 tab daily. Do I have to take it at the exact same time the next day and going forward?
Hi, I started taking the Xarelto 20mg. Does it matter if I take Xarelto in the morning or evening?

It does not matter. It must be taken after the largest meal of the day. If your largest meal is breakfast then take it after breakfast. If it is dinner,then-after dinner.

Hi I'm a nurse and I had a DVT & PULMONARY EMBOLISM LARGE ONES IN BOTH LUNGS!! I USED TO TAKE COUMADIN &MY I&REALLY WAS 13.7 .I WAS IN CRITICAL CONDITION AND HIGH RISK OF BLEEDING TO DEATH!!NOW I'M ON XARELTO 20MG & IT'S THE BEST TO TAKE IT THE SAME TIME EVERYDAY. GOOD LUCK!

Xarelto (rivaroxaban) is an anticoagulant or blood thinner that prevents the formation of blood clots. It is best to take xarelto at the same time each day with food.
