I was informed I am at a 21 should be 32 in the level of vitamin d.
I just started my prescrp. 3 days ago 50,000 iu vitamin d. How long til I start feeling better?

Hello sunshine. Be sure you are taking calcium as well with it. This helps to store the D in your system. Most women need extra calcium anyway. Calcium rich foods like milk will help your system rebuild this vitamin.
How long it takes to recover from a deficiency using supplements will depend on your overall health and the supplement dose. Recovery rates will vary but generally you should allow 6 to 8 weeks.
Sunlight provides a natural source of vitamin D. You can also get vitamin D from your food. Eggs, fish, cod liver oil and fortified milk are rich sources of vitamin D.
