... Am I wrong in doing this?
I have been splitting the Contrave pills when I take them. Then I read you should NOT split them.?

Never split any pills unless your doctor says it's ok. As Melanie mentioned this is a time-release pill and it could process too quickly. Your body will "disperse" the medication at its own pace.
Do NOT split them! They are time release tablets and splitting them could possibly process them too quickly in your system which could cause a whole hosts of problems... Including a higher risk of seizures. Please take them whole in the future.
