Women can become pregnant as soon as 3 weeks after giving birth. It's more commonly 6 to 12 weeks afterwards, but it is possible for some, as soon as 3 weeks after having a baby.
I don't know when you had the Depo Provera shot, nor do I know when you left the hospital, so you'll have to work that out from my above answer.
The shot becomes effective immediately if it is given within the first 5 days after giving birth. Otherwise, you need to wait 7 days before you're protected.
If you are pregnant, this Drug could harm the baby/pregnancy, as it is classified as a category X drug.
If you are breast feeding, the advice of the Manufacturer is to wait until you are 6 weeks post partum (6 weeks after giving birth) before getting a shot.
If you have been fully breast feeding since you gave birth (& not supplementing with formula), then that is likely to have protected against pregnancy.
