I just upped my Zoloft from 100 to 125 Zoloft worked the best for me been on it for at least 15 years but I went through a trauma which I believed caused me to need more of the medication because I could feel myself slipping I would Think that can happen also with the increases before I get better I would assume that can happen good luck with it..
Yes I have been on sertraline. I felt the same as you to start with. X
You'll be better soon! For some people who experience side effects like new or increased anxiety it can be rough at first but you should start seeing some improvements in the next week or so but anxiety is harder to treat than depression and may take a bit longer.
Be patient... this type of medication doesn't work in just a few days. It can take 4-8 weeks to feel the full benefits but you'll start feeling much better before then.
If you're truly having panic attacks your doctor should be able to prescribe another medication to take temporarily until you're more stabilized.
I think once you get through this initial period you'll see it was worth the time and effort.
