I started Zoloft on 17th of January. Felt good right away(probably placebo).
Now on the 4th week and feel depressed and anxious again. Cant sleep well and getting hit flashes. I am on 50mg once a day.
Is this normal or should I ask my doctor to up the dosage?

As Wildcat says, our bodies are still adjusting. Of course talk to your doctor, but if you give the 50mg dose a few more weeks you'll be in a better place to see if you need to adjust the dose. It is difficult to be patient during these times. Also can ask your doctor to test your hormones. They were able to help me with the hot flashes. Good luck.
Hi, mees!
You should let your doctor know about this but it's probably what's called the "roller coaster effect".
As your metabolism continues to adjust to the medication you may have good days and then bad days. This usually resolves on it's own with a little essence of time.
Your doctor can decide whether continuing on the 50mg or adjusting your dosage is the better option for you.
Hang in there... things will get better quickly.
