I was recently prescribed sertraline 25mg but haven't started yet because I see the reviews and some people say it makes you drowsy. Others say it makes it hard to sleep at night. One thing I hate is not getting sleep, I have small children I have to care for all day. So when should I start? Thank you
Sertraline - day or night? When do I start?

Hi, Wera!
"Very common (10% or more of users): Somnolence (up to 13%)" (drowsiness/sleepiness)
"Very common (10% or more of users): Insomnia (up to 21%)"
These side effects can go either way but it's somewhat less likely to make you sleepy... if you have side effects at all and many people don't.
Maybe try it in the morning first and see how you do with it. You can always switch to night if necessary.
One way or another, side effects generally resolve within days to a week or two and usually subside as the days go by.
