Cymbalta should be avoided regardless of your health conditions. The withdrawal symptoms from it are severe and long lasting. If you start it’s very difficult to stop.
It all depends on any given individual's response to any given medication. Most people, including myself, have discontinued Cymbalta and other medications with no symptoms as long as done with a gradual taper under a doctor's supervision. You rarely hear about the majority of people's successes because they don't sit down and type comments about it.
