Is it safe to take clindamycin when it has expired?

I have taken medicine past expiration and found that it does still work. Too long after expiration may not be as potent in which case you would not get well. Then you would need to call in to your doctor for a refill. I also check with my pharmacy about questions on medicine I use. They have answered questions about some medicines I have been prescribed in the past. Most important your doctor is always the best person to call with questions when all else fails.
Some medicines I have built up a tolerance for and have been prescribed something different. I have dealt with chronic sinusitis so have had gone thru quite a list of medicines that no longer work for me. Hope you get well soon!
