... what should I do? Will it hurt more to take extra or skip a dose? I have terribly bad health anxiety so this is worst case for me... I am certainly going to die if I take it or have severe symptoms if I don't... lol true in my world. Any candy coated advice would be appreciated, thanks!
However, you aren't sure you didn't take it. 2 would do nothing except maybe give you some side effects, but skipping this one may give you some effects as well. I'd say don't take another one. Wait and see how you feel. If you start feeling like you are having some symptoms of withdrawal from not taking it, then take it, otherwise you should be fine. Easy to cure your anxiety over it in the future, get yourself one of the pill boxes that you load the pills on the day and time you are to take them, for a week, then if you can't remember all you have to do is look at the box. If we take a pill every day, we get so used to it we can't remember if we did it without thinking or if we're remembering taking it from another day.
I agree with the other advice given. However, I wouldn't even take it again until tomorrow since your not sure. I have taken Celexa for a long time and to miss one dose will be alright to skip it, nothing should happen such as anxiety etc. If you do what KaisM said about the pill box you will more than likely remember.
I hope this has helped,
If you are seriously worried about this, maybe you could count the remaining pills you have for this med, and determine how many you have already taken from this rx. Simple math will tell you if you have taken it or not. However, since it has been more than 6 hours, it probably would be fine to resume regular dosing. Best of luck...
Hi Nayline, what alot of good answers you got! I really can't add anything,
'cuz all the correct info was given. Pillboxes are really good to help you
remember if you took your meds or not. I fill mine every Sunday, it is a real
habit. I take Celexa 20mg and it rally helps:) Take Care of Yourself... DD*
