Why would you stop the medication because the number of tablets has been increased? You have to taper off this medication slowly under Drs supervision and if he just increased your dose, he doesnt want you off the medication. Stopping abruptly can lead to rebound effects like rapid and pounding heart rate, headaches, chest pains and increased blood pressure. You could have a stroke! Please talk to your Dr about concerns, dont just stop the medication.
Did the dr stop it like? You're bound to have rapid pulse when its stopped if that is why you're taking it. Talk to your dr.
I stopped using it by myself because the number of tablets I take has increased.
Your reasoning is astounding. The dr thought you need more so you just thought you wouldnt take any.
AGREE 100% YOU should never just stop a beta blocker aka class of drug, you could have several problems Please make sure you check with the prescriber.
