I changed my lifestyle seven years ago and lost 114 pounds. Then I hit a plateu for about 9 months, then the weight started creeping up (25 lbs so far). I am hungry ALL the time so i asked my doc to put me on qsymia. I have not lost any weight, and its been 5 months. As a matter of fact, i keep gaining and losing the same five pounds over and over which is normal for me. What am i doing wrong? I try to exercise but its been hard because I'm exhausted all the time and my preferred method is walking and right now its way to hot here in FL for that.

I started Qsymia in September of last year. Due to the cost, my Dr. decided to give me the generic form of phentermine/Topamax. By March, i had lost 28 lbs. I was so happy. I still hadn't met my goal of 40 lbs. It's now been a whole year and I'm up 5 lbs. My Dr. Wants to take me off the medicine and i just want to cry because I'm sure I'll just creep back up. I wish you luck with this medicine. Hang in There. Did your Dr. Up your dose yet?
I am not sure what you are doing wrong but perhaps Qsymia is not the medicine for you. If it hasn't helped in the last 5 months then I am not sure if it'll help even if you take it any longer, unless you really change your diet and exercise routine.

You may need to reboot your system with a colon cleanse. Then try eating fresh. I did it by eating lots of baked sweet potatos. I'm talking one large sweet potato every day for either lunch or dinner sometimes even breakfast. Yep I put butter on it but not alot. you know those bags of already cooked frozen chicked breast chunks? Microwave a bowl full and throw them in a salad. Use salad dressing. Just don't over do it. if your hungry eat!. The cans of chicken breast..not the small tiny tuna can size but the next size up Pop open one of those when you are to tired to cook and chow down till you are full. Eat the whole can (read the label) you'll be ok. Stay away from the bread starchy foods. A nice hot bowl of scrambled eggs. That's another favorite these foods will keep you full. Drink drink drink I drink everything noncaloric. Coffee tea diet soda and water. I have an excersice bike I ride anywhere from 30-60 min. I take qsymia lost 30 lbs in 5months.
My doc says slow and steady wins the race. I feel great. I think sweet potatos may be the key. hope this helps someone
When you use Qsymia, you Must exercise otherwise it just will not work. It is not a medicine that speeds you up, doing physical exercise will do the weightloss. I lost 25 pounds using this but unfortunately I broke my ankle and gained everything back.
