One of the most common side effects of it is constipation. Lots of water, fiber and a stool softener or laxative will work much better.

Dicyclomine relieves muscle spasms of the GI tract. It is usually used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and functional bowel disorders. I am not sure if it will help you.
