Hi. I'm 16 years old and I've been on the nuvaring for about a year and a Hal now. Last month I took the ring out when I was supposed to and I got my period when expected. But, it only lasted two days, which isn't normal for me. I chose not to put the ring back in & had unprotected sex two weeks after I got my period. Now my period is due, but it is no where to be seen. Am I pregnant?

I took a test but it came up negative.. Idk what is going on but it's making me nervous. I don't want to tell my mom, I want to figure this out on my own because if I am pregnant, I want to tell her on my own time.

foolish girl. Why didn't you put it back in when you were supposed to? And why did you have sex without it? You should do a test a week after your period was due, on the first pee of the morning. By making foolish decisions you may have ruined your teen years.

The time you had unprotected sex was a very risky time. I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test.
