You dont have to lay down for 30 minutes after sex. You dont have to keep all of the ejaculate within you to get pregnant. Once your husband ejaculates, he can pull out and you both can get up and go about your activities. Laying down holding in the ejaculate wont help you get pregnant any faster. Sperm will "swim" up to meet an egg, if one is there at the right time, it will be fertilized. Getting pregnant requires precise timing of a womans releasing of the egg and sex. There is about a 3-4 day window each month where the time is right to become pregnant. Sperm can be active within you for about 3 days then they begin to die off. So there is no reason for you to "Keep it all in". Just relax. It can sometimes take 6 months to a year before you become pregnant. For some reason it always seems easier to get pregnant when you are not trying than when you are trying. Be patient and let Nature care for it.
I wasn't aware the length of time he was there had anything to do with it. It only takes one sperm so any leakage is ok. Relax and don't make it so clinical it will happen.
