I have been taking 40 mg of Pepid twice a day for a few months. But I am experiencing a lot of gas( farts) and kind of like constipation. After a bowel movement, I don't feel like I have completed empty my bowel. Does anybody have the same or similar experience? Is there anything can be done about it?

Pepcid can cause constipation, and that would lead to gas. You could try another stomach medication and see if that would have the same effect. If your dr ordered the pepcid I would check in with him on it.

I have tried Nexium and Prilosec both. They all give me problems.

You should try the cherry (or which ever flavor you like) chewable tablets since they dissolve higher up in your digestive system it should completely resolve or at the least lessen your particular side effects..I hope this helps, good luck =)
