Yes.They can take tylenol, that is not an NSAID drug like ibuprofen.
An allergy to NSAID's? I don't think I've heard of such a thing. Is it an allergy or is it some kind of sensitivity to the drugs like stomach issues or Liver issues? The medications have different modes of action also.
The tylenol will cause Liver issues if they already exist and the codeine will cause constipation in opiate naive patients.
An allergy to NSAIDs absolutely can exist, myself, my dad and my friend are all allergic (to the point where we need to go to the hospital if we take something that has an NSAID ingredient... even liniments with salicylic acid can trigger a reaction).
