is it safe take and will it still help with the pain?
All meds have an expiration date, and most of the time it means that the drug may not be as strong as it was before that date. Some of them actually harm you if taken after they expire.
It also depends on how it is stored and how far over the expiration date it is. Sometimes it is best to get a new script and another checkup to see if anything else is going on. Can I ask what symptoms you are experiencing now vs. the symptoms you had when it was originally prescribed? Also, is this your prescription?
