Comparing Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325 mg to Hydrocodone 10-325 mg, what is the difference for those of you who have tried both?
I am currently in Hydrocodone 10-325 for chronic pain in back, neck, and muscles due to having Fibromyalgia a d Chronic Pain Syndrome. I also suffer from sciatica. My doctor has now prescribed Oxycodone 7.5-325.

The difference is the dosage is lower for Oxycodone however Oxycodone is a slightly stronger drug than hydrocodone. That being said sometimes a lower dose stronger drug is more effective than a higher dose weaker drug.

Thank you - I still haven’t taken the Oxycodone because I only take it if absolutely necessary.
