You are getting 15 mg of oxycodone without the Tylenol in it. This is stronger. If you liked having the acetaminophen, then take a Tylenol along with the oxycodone pill.
The 10/325 probably is a combination drug of 10mg oxycodone with 325 mg acetaminophen (Tylenol)
The oxycodone 15 mg is only the oxycodone with nothing else added. It’s stronger than the 10/325 as it has 15mg of oxycodone instead of 10mg.
I’m surprised the provider didn’t inform you of the change or the reason for doing so.
The drug Percocet is a brand name for oxycodone 10/325.
I personally prefer plain oxycodone because the fewer drugs I have to take the better.
