Is nystatin ointment used for sores inside the nose?

Mupirocin Ointment 2 % has been used for sores in the nose twice a day !
My ENT gave it to me used 14 days for sores in the nose, it worked.
Also, you can't stick just anything in your nose. If it has an oil base, it can lead to pneumonia, for example. You should see your dr about it.
It would depend on what is causing the sores. Nystatin is an antifungal and is used to treat fungal infections.
