I have been on Nuvigil for over a year. In the last 3 months I have had difficulty achieving orgasm, which used to come very easily. I am wondering if this is possibly related to the med. Anyone else having this problem?

I have been on nuvigil 150 for about three months and a few days ago jumped up to 250, I’ve found intercourses is near impossible to orgasm and even by myself is becoming more and more difficult!

I doubt it or this would have been a problem earlier on. Nuvigil affects dopamine in the brain which also is released during sex, but physiologically I would think that it would make it better, not worse. Are you depressed or under unusual stress? These can affect our ability to orgasm.

Yes, this has been an incredibly stressful summer. However, the desire is still there, the build up is there, but achieving is next to impossible. Even when I'm alone. Which is completely out of character for me. I used to have multiples, easily. Its only adding to my stress.

I understand, orgasm is a great stress reliever. Are you on anyother medications?

Yea, I take that too and it wouldn't be the problem. I suspect it is the stress of your life, but you could always discontinue the Nuvigil for a little while and see what happens. Of course, if you do you will be sleepy. Might be best to discuss with the doc.

I have the same problem it is clearly drug related. I am unable to achieve an orgasm on this product.

I love this Nuvigil for the brain fog I have been going thru since i had an accident that caused concussion but I realized, that sex is not as satisfying. I'm very active and healthy and have always enjoyed sex and look forward.. Now I still think about it all the time, but it just takes move effort since being on this drug..
