At a 10mg dosage for pain does it commonly affect sexual function? I have not taken this yet but in my experience with SSRIs I had trouble with this. Wondered if this would be less likely with this medication

I've been taking it for about 10 years and I've never had any problems sexually. I originally took this for insomnia but after a couple weeks I realized I wasn't having anymore nerve pain in my back. No more stiffness in the morning. I stopped the 800mg of Motrin 2-3 times a day.
Good luck to you.
Hi, Dhansen!
"Genitourinary
Frequency not reported: Breast enlargement, delayed micturition, dilation of the urinary tract, galactorrhea, impotence, nocturia, urinary frequency, urinary retention, testicular swelling"
Not a helpful answer as the frequency is not reported.
"Antidepressants most likely to cause sexual side effects include:
-Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil) and tranylcypromine (Parnate). However, selegiline (Emsam), an MAOI that you stick on your skin as a patch, has a low risk of sexual side effects."
It seems that most, if not all, antidepressants have the potential for this type of side effect.
Have a talk with your doctor... there are medications that can sometimes offset it.
:(
