My family doctor has prescribed Nortriptyline 5mg with Zopiclone 3.75mg.
But a hospital doctor who visits the same medical centre says that I should get off the Zopiclone as soon as possible. I am about to reach my 88th birthday.
Can Nortriptyline 5mg be safely taken with Zopiclone 3.75mg?

Congrats on your birthday coming. My Mom is 88. The reason the second doc wants you off of it is because its not something you should be on long term and there have been studies done of these types of meds being used in people over 65. It can lead to dizziness and increased falls, and some mental confusion.
They do not interact.
I just wanted to wish a very happy Birthday with your loved ones (sorry, I usually read the Q to fast and miss some details due to my unbearable insomnia.)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :-)
Thank you for your good wishes, much appreciated.
You are most welcome:-)
