I suffer with chronic pain. It's been a 10 plus year of my condition. I only take the Norco when my pain levels are seven or above. The generic DOES NOT work like the Norco, and you end up taking more meds than necessary. I can go for three days or more depending on my activity. My pharmacy says they are having a hard time getting the brand name. Please share what my pharmacy can do to get the brand for my condition.
Has Norco been discontinued by all manufacturers?

We have been waiting for almost a month . My husband fell in March broke many bones. He is 75,I'm 73 still working a part time job, I have arthritis just about everywhere. We need our meds !
I have been taking Norco for over 12 years and haven't had any issue until lately. The manufacturer brand I received the last time is LUPIN it's horrible! I came here in search for a pharmacy that might have a different manufacturer? I'm located in South Eastern Michigan if anyone knows of a place please forward the info it would be greatly appreciated
I have found Norco does not work for me. Are yours the white or yellow? The yellow hydrocodone works best for me. The white norcos do not work at all. I might as well be taking an Excedrin migraine tablet. I would be very interested in finding out if production of the hydrocodone has been stopped. I know Watson is no longer producing any hydrocodone medications.
I agree! The yellow are far superior, however I have been told by my dr & all the pharmacies they are no longer producing this
I need to find a suitable replacement
I actually have a mild reaction to the white generic besides it being less effective
Have you found anything that works as well?
I am in Michigan and have never had a problem getting Norco from my pharmacy. As a matter of fact, I picked up a refill of it today.
If I may ask would you please share the manufacturer and the pharmacy?
Your questions promted me to call my Pharmacy (Kroger) and speak with a Pharmacist. She said that "Norco" is a general term/name meaning HYDROcodone - ACETAMINOPHEN. If you were actually be prescribed brand name Norco, it is SO ridiculously expensive insurances generally would not cover the cost. SO yes Norco is made BUT not practible. The HYDROcodone - ACETAMINOPHEN I take is manufactured by Mallinckrodt and works fantastically for me!!
If you ever had the real ones you'd know the difference
Where is your pharmacy?
