I am bleeding very heavily and in terrible pain. It literally feels like contractions. This is the most painful period I have had in a long time. I had Nexplanon for 16 months and wanted it taken out due to the serious side effects I was having. I am having huge blood clots coming out and they are very painful!!! Did anyone else get these after the removal of Nexplanon? I am doubled over in pain. Did anyone else get lumps in there breasts? I had to go to the breast center and have a mammogram done and an ultrasound. It caused depression, terrible mood swings, straight unhappiness for months on end. It even caused me lack of energy and no sex drive. I need some answers please.
I just had my Nexplanon removed about 10 days ago. I am bleeding very heavily.

Some weeks of bleeding is quite common as your body tries to rebalance itself, after the artificial hormone. Sounds horrible, being so heavy. I hope it stops soon.
I bled for a year on the implant, before having it removed. Thankfully not heavily, all the time. I was told to give it a year.
There are natural things you can try, to rebalance your hormones, if things don't settle down. That's what I had to do, afterwards.
Once I'd got things under control, I said I'd never use artificial hormones again.
