My doctor never told me to wait 24 hours before showering so I'm worried.
girl you’re fine. unless you physically dug the implant out you’re golden. My doctor didn’t even tell me about that rule and i shower daily.
Showering has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the birth control. If there is any reason not to shower during the first 24 hours, it is because they don't want of the site of insertion to get wet.
