No Not only could have lost strength but if the tip got contaminated at all, its been breeding bacteria.

Most Meds can be used after the date but there is a reduction in the effectiveness
I don't like antibiotics being used before seeing Dr as this can lead to a misdiagnosis as a culture is not going to be correct
