I just started taking this medication for depression however I am extremely drowsy, dizzy and can’t imagine having to drive after taking it. Is this normal? It’s 100mg.

Hi, Sarah!
Yes, sleepiness (somnolence) and dizziness are common side effects with nefazodone:
"Nervous system
Very common (10% or more of users): Headache (up to 36%), somnolence (up to 28%), dizziness (up to 22%), lightheadedness (up to 10%)"
Side effects generally resolve over days to a week or so and usually lessen day by day so it may be just a matter of giving it a little more time..
You're on a low dose now but you might let your doctor know about how strongly it's affecting you. A temporary adjustment in your dosage might help you adjust to the drug a little more easily.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better quickly.
