Do I need a signed prescription from a Dr to get a prescription? I’ve been taking the same dose of Levothyroxine for 15 years but just moved across country and haven’t found a Dr yet. I thought I had another bottle but can’t find it and I’m out of pills

Answers
Hi, Michiel!
Yes, unfortunately levothryroxine is only available with a prescription.

PS, If you're in the U.S. you might try ZocDoc for finding a doctor. That's how I found my GP after my cross country move. He's great and I got an appointment two days later. It will also tell you if they accept your insurance.
