My dr stress he was prescribing lowest dose possible which is 10mg I was wondering what this drug is prescribed for mainly for I do have Hep C w/ low platelets count. Also my np was at 143/83 he said he wanted to lower pressure in my veins and reduce risk of any internal bleeding

Also I don’t normally have to high of blood pressure I’ve been taking 10mg and halving it only to see what it does to me never in my life been on any prescription drugs afraid of using to 10 like he prescribed don’t want my pressure to go to low in my sleep that’s when I take it
Nadolol is a bata-blocker. It can treat high blood pressure, reducing the risk of stroke & heart attack. It also treat chest pain (angina). It may also treat cirrhosis of the liver (hepatic cirrhosis).
Unfortunately your dizziness & sleepiness/tiredness are some common side effects of this drug that usually goes away but if it's bothering you talk to your dr to see if he/she could find another drug for you to try.
Hope this helps you
