I just had my second shot of 5mg and the side effects cranked back up that had subsided after the first shot. Will this happen every week or just when I am getting used to it?

That’s normal. The third shot in a box is always the worst one for me in terms of side effects, I’ve seen many other patients say the same. I always take a Zofran pill before I take my shot, that helps a lot with the nausea. My body did get used to the 5mg dose for the most part, but the side effects still pop up from time to time. I’ve been on 5mg for 10 weeks now. Lost 21lbs out of the 35 i would like to lose.

I started on 2.5. Side effects go away after a couple days. Went to 5 for one month. Hair loss started. Back down to 2.5. Good enough to suppress appetite and I lost 25 lbs in 5 months. I took the shot at bedtime. Helped a lot.
