I had my implant inserted about two weeks after my last cycle (actually, I can be very specific, it was day 25 in my cycle. I usually go about 30-32 days) so my doctorate told me to wait another 14 before having unprotected sex. I am fine with that, the only thing I'm wondering is this: I am on day 33 and have not started my period yet. I am getting married in 9 days and husband is not going to want to use protection on our honeymoon... if I don't have my period by then, should I be concerned? I know I have ovulated because I was not on birth control previously so I feel as though technically I may be able to get pregnant if I haven't shed my lining yet... maybe I'm crazy, thoughts?

Maybe you don't know how your cycle works. Whether or not you have a period, its not going to make you ovulate. Periods often stop when you have the implant. You do not ovulate with the implant. You have less than a 1% risk of pregnancy with implant. You don't need any other protection.
I Know how my cycle works. I know that periods often stop when the implant is in, I don't feel like this really eased my fears, maybe I'm not fully understanding your answer... I have already ovulated, before getting the implant I had already passed my ovulation period. My question is if that affects anything or not. Maybe that is what you were trying to say but I just wanted to clarify. I know that from now on, I'm not ovulating, I'm just worried about before.
I have been on the nexplanon for 2 years and I'm late for my period it's the second month with out it my nipples are sore and there are times I feel like I'm going to start but still nothing what do you think is it normal or should I get checked
