I’m on Wellbutrin XL 300 mg and metoprolol succinate 25 mg. I have a couple questions if anyone can help.
1) How do these 2 drugs actually interact? Is the potential interaction dangerous? I feel like they play off each other or something. Here lately I’ve just been in a mental fog and not feeling well or myself but could just be life.
2) I inadvertently missed about 8 Wellbutrin XL pills (not exactly in a row) sort of sporadically I guess. I took my dose yesterday and today and tonight I feel seriously crazy in the head, along with being dizzy, shaky, blurred vision and just overall feeling terrible. Could this be bc I missed so many pills and then I’m also taking metoprolol now or any ideas? It’s starting to scare me a little bit

Applies to: Metoprolol Tartrate (metoprolol), Wellbutrin XL (bupropion)
BuPROPion may increase the blood levels and effects of metoprolol. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if you experience increased side effects or your condition changes. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

2) Contact your Dr. and inform him/her what you are undergoing, perhaps you need a dose adjustment.
