Mirtazapine - Has anyone had problems increasing Remeron to 30mgs?

I started on 15 mg mirtazapine without any problems. Then several weeks later the dose was upped to 30mg. This caused me to feel very heavy headed, slow thinking & I found it hard to function --& this didn't get any easier with time, so went back to 15 mg & have stayed on that dosage since.

I started on 15mg, stepped up to 30mg and later to 45mg. I only had significant side effects when I first started the 15mg. I never had any issues when I increased dosage.

The only problem I ever had with Remeron was swelling in my feet. We never came to a conclusion as to why, so we changed meds.
