Methocarbamol - can it cause severe changes to your mood?

I am experiencing intense, sudden mood changes ranging from uncontrollable bouts of crying to intense fear and anxiety.
Has anyone else experienced such side effects? FTR I am on a boatload of psychotropic meds as well and have been on them for ages: Lexapro, Ritalin, Abilify, BuSpar, Trazodone.

It doesn’t do that to me. The ones you mentioned, I can’t take any of them but methocarbamol is the only muscle relaxer that I can take. Is it maybe reacting with one of the meds you are already taking?

Listed on the incidence not known are:
mood or mental changes
"Incidence not known' is a term used in medical literature and drug labeling to indicate that the frequency of a particular side effect occurring is not known. This means that the side effect has not been reported frequently enough to establish a clear estimate of its occurrence rate."
I suggest you inform your Dr. as soon as you are able to.
If you have doubts/questions regarding the potential interactions listed on the report do ask/clarify your Dr. about them.

These are the known psychiatric side effects of methocarbamol: "Psychiatric Frequency not reported: Amnesia, confusion, insomnia, restlessness, anxiety"
I'd suggest you consult with your doctor (hopefully a psychiatrist) for professional guidance and perhaps a review of your medications and dosages. You need to determine the reason for your breakthrough symptoms. You might consider a mood stabilizer such as lamotrigine. Take care and be well soon.
