I’ve had hep c for 2 years and I got scared never took my medicine . I need to start it now so if I take it about 6 a m should I be fine ? I’m a very healthy person other than the hep c I have a good immune system and I’m only 29 years old . So if I take the Mavyret should I be fine and not get any symptoms ?
Mavyret - I need to know if this will make me sick ?

Hey, Ian! I am on week 4, no problem first two weeks, now I'm flu-like. It's not terrible, but slightly uncomfortable. I'm having nausea, headache, restlessness, joint pain, back pain, brain fog. All minor, but the fatigue is rough. I am 52, on many meds for autoimmune diseases, and diabetes. Hope this helps!

Nausea is the worst for me. You sound tough. I first started Maverick 10 days ago, but could only take it for two days as I had pretty strong side effects- nausea, lack of appetite, fatigue, diarrhea, etc. I felt like I had a stomach virus (which I probably did and the Mavyret triggered. My doctor stopped the meds until what she suspected was another viral infection cleared up completely.
Tomorrow will be my second day since restarting Maverick and I'm having some weird psychological symptoms. Anxiety, especially, and fear that those terrible side effects will come back. But today was OK, no nausea a little fatigued, but not bad at all. It's weird, but I feel sad and lonely, which I usually do not. Oh well, I will keep writing.

I am already unwell and have concerns as well.
Through research I will take mine in the PM. I have no appetite and have concerns, so I will do my best to eat then. Take 30 minutes after meal..

Ian, have you started you medication?
I started the 11th.
I'm experiencing some side effects but I was unwell prior to taking meds.

Hi Ian.
I took it for two days and had stomach bug symptoms. My doctor thinks Mavyret triggered an otherwise mild viral infection. I got better and started again two hours ago under her guidance. We'll see how it goes!
