I took 75 mg of Lyrica 3 hours before my urine test and the test was to see if I was taking it. Should it show up?
Will Lyrica show up on a lab urine drug test with low detection levels?

I don’t know
Hello
It should if they were testing for it although most drug screens dont look for Lyrica because Lyrica is not a controlled substance. A Dr can check drug levels on just about any drug he wants but he has to order it as a specific test that is sent to the lab and this is best done by blood work rather than urine.
Thanks, how do you always know so much... lol
i take lyrica daily and on the bottle there is a sticker that states it is a controlled substance, but you said it isnt! what the sticker on my bottle for then?
Regarding it being a controlled substance: it has BECOME a controlled substance because they have found it has potential for abuse. When it was first prescribed it was not considered such. Unfortunately there are people who look for things to purposely abuse thereby causing problems for patients that have a genuine need for pain relieving medications. This is why you will now see the "Controlled Substance"
Sticker on your Rx bottle of Lyrica and soon you will see a urine/blood test to detect its use.
