Jadaf33; What you should do is try the Lunesta by itself to see if that well help and work by itself for sleep, When you do take the two together it causes the side effects to increase. Maybe if you do have to take both at bedtime take the Ativan a hour or so before the Lunesta. Here is a copy of the Interaction of these two when taken together so be aware of it. This comes from our Interactions site here at Drugs.com((((Interactions between your selected drugs
Moderate
lorazepam eszopiclone
Applies to: Ativan (lorazepam), Lunesta (eszopiclone)
Using LORazepam together with eszopiclone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.))))) Any dought check with your doctor and see just how they wanted you to take these two at bedtime.
