Sorry to here lorazepam is not working as well as it used to. I've been on 1mg 3x daily for 20-25 years and have not had any issues, even though I had a doctor tell me recently it is a "horrible" drug to be taking especially long term. He prescribed buspirone 7. 5mg 2x daily. I have not tried this drug yet so I don't know how it works. The lorazepam has worked for me for years but since it is a controlled substance docs are leery to prescribe it long term. If lorazepam is not working as well as it used to, you may research buspirone or ask your doc about it. Hope all works out.
I've taken buspirone for years and it works beautifully for me. It doesn't work immediately like lorazepam and other benzos do but it doesn't cause the serious long term side effects that the benzos do. And it's not addictive.
