How long should someone take ceterizine for allergies at 10mg?

Can the drug ceterizine be taken every day to control allergies. I meant can it be taken indefinetly like you would high blood pressure medications, forever. The symptoms just go away and come back, should you just take the ceterizine when the symtoms come back and then stop, don't really know what to do. Can it harm your kidneys or your liver if taking indefintely.

A lot of people take cetirizine long term, during the allergy seasons. Take it as directed ... if a particular season gives you more allergic symptoms, you can use it regularly during that season.
