Hi Joyce, I seen your question & I'm sorry to say I can't answer your question because I have never taken that medicine. I just sympathize with you!! I was diagnosed with MS in April 2000 because I woke up one morning paralized from chest down. I had been struggling for several years with pain, fatigue etc. but thought I just pushed too hard. After learning I had MS for years and thinking lots of my symptoms came from disc problems with my back. After MRI & lots of tests I was told I have MS lesions in spine & brain and I also tested positive for Lupus. My point being, I don't take a specific med. for lupus because they always focused on my MS & supposedly the meds. I take for MS should also help my Lupus. They immediately started my Copaxone injections, strong pain meds, provigil twice a day for fatigue, Neurontin for the tingling and lots of vitamin D & B-12 because they we're both bottomed out. Also, they diagnosed thyroid so began taking synthroid for that. I'm not sure if my information will help you in any way but felt the need to share with you. I remember how devastated I was & reading your question made me feel that we might have similar situations. I can tell you that most medicine can linger in system for a while after stopped but, I'm sure you could ask your pharmacist and find the answer your needing. My prayers are with you!!!
