I was suffering anxiety which I think has been building for years after losing my parents suddenly and then Covid hit. I started on 10 mg of amitriptyline building up to 40 mg then mentally I felt better but started getting a strange feeling in my legs like they didn't belong to me, I'm now back to 30 mg for 2 days, and am still experiencing this feeling and feel very low thinking I'm never going to get better, I've been on the tablets for 3 1/2 weeks, am I just being impatient? please help as I am self employed and haven't worked for 4 weeks and want to get back but feel so unwell and tired
How long should I persevere with amitriptyline?
