Hello, sciatica can be very painful and it can also impact your everyday life. If the 800 mg of ibuprofen didn't work I am not certain the naproxen will either. The best bet is to contact your dr and make him aware that your experiencing pain not controlled by over the counter medications. There are numerous prescription strength non steroidal a, anti inflammatory medications as well as pain meds that your dr can prescribe for you.
