I just started morphine and I am in sever pain I would like to know when I might start feeling some relief from the pain.
How long does it take for morphine to get into your system and start working?

You should begin to feel some relief within 30-60 minutes of taking it. If it is a long acting drug, you may not get full effects until you build a steady blood level which can take a few days.
